Villa in Turku – Drift

Design of a dramatic geometrically shaped concrete villa, with a patio and pond water feature, in a forest clearing setting nestled against a giant rock. The building strikes with full height glazing and warm ambient lighting. The contrast between the stark concrete and the surrounding natural forest area creates tension, while a restricted colour and material palette keeps the overall experience calm.
